Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
- Primary recruiting lead on all corporate, Langhorne, and Fairmont job openings, as well as assist with companywide openings.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to line management in managing hourly employees, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by working closely with both management and hourly employees to improve work relationships, enhance morale, and drive productivity and retention across the workforce.
- Provide on-site support to employees for benefit-related questions and resolve any benefit-related issues, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support payroll processing, time and attendance systems, and scheduling for hourly employees. Ensure that all processes are in compliance with company policies.
- Focus on all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salaried/hourly employees, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and administering the hiring process. Ensure new hires are properly integrated into the company.
- Build and maintain relationships with local universities, colleges, and high schools to attract new talent and grow our team of hourly employees, while supporting workforce diversity and inclusion.
- Be available to work beyond normal work hours to fulfill responsibilities, manage any urgent HR issues, or support operations during peak times and occasional weekends.
- Carry out any other duties related to the position as required, ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions within the unionized environment.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three to five to years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including human. performance, and federal and state employment laws.
- Safety conscious and willing to work in an industrial environment.
- Strong background in recruiting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills.
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Payroll and scheduling experience preferred.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong initiative and perseverance.
- Strong ambition for continuous learning and career growth; willingness to take on additional responsibilities, and desire for future promotion.
