About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Support Engineer to provide night shift coverage for our US-based operations. You will work closely with our US DevOps engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our production and non-production systems. This role is crucial to avoid a single point of failure and to provide 24x7 operational support for our critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
24x7 Night Shift Support for US DevOps operations.
Handle ad-hoc DevOps support tickets via support channels and direct communication.
Monitor all critical systems and promptly acknowledge and act on alerts.
Provide first-level support for Sev1/Sev2 incidents and escalate when needed.
Maintain and support cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
Collaborate with development and QA/QE teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment across the SDLC.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform routine health checks of production and staging environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures in Jenkins/ArgoCD.
Support Kubernetes cluster operations – deploy workloads, troubleshoot pod failures, monitor resource usage.
Assist with infrastructure cost optimization and resource right-sizing. Document runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for recurring issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems support. Assist with user access management and compliance-related configurations.
Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual interventions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience range: 2 - 4 years
Proficient in AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.); working knowledge of Azure and GCP is a plus.
