Job Summary

Works closely with recruiting team in a fast-paced environment.  Responsible for the effective and successful execution of the recruitment strategy and building candidate relationships.  The role will provide administrative support to recruitment and staffing, and applicant tracking system.

 

Job Title: Talent Onboarding Specialist

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Own all things related to the onboarding experience from the start of the offer acceptance stage, for all new hires
  • Assists in the screening, selection, and evaluation of candidates
  • Assists in posting approved staff requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Handles all pre- and post-employment activities to include all onboarding, reference checks, verification of licensure & certifications, background checks, etc. per established policies and procedures
  • Performs Level II fingerprinting finger printing and resubmissions
  • Reviews I-9 and E-verify documentation thoroughly to ensure that appropriate and authentic documents are obtained
  • Initiates and ensures compliance with all pre-employment requirements, including Temps, Volunteers and Interns
  • Maintains accurate recordkeeping based on compliance requirements
  • Maintains recruiting documentation in accordance with Federal and State laws
  • Other related duties and special projects as assigned

 

Abilities Required

  • Must have outstanding follow-up, communication, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Must have ability to work independently in a professional manner with frequent interruptions
  • Must be a self-starter and work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed
  • Must have analytical problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, and management in other departments
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred

 

Experience:

  • Four years of experience in a clerical or administrative setting, preferably in a healthcare HR setting
  • Two years of Human Resources experience preferred

 

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certification in HR field (CCP, PHR, etc.) preferred
