The Dance Instructor will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of students in a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals in their chosen area of dance.

Job Responsibilities
1. Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
2. Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
3. Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
4. Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
5. Choreograph routines and select music for recitals and concerts.
6. Conduct group and private lessons as required.
7. Provide a safe, fun, and creative environment.
8. Keep up-to-date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.
9. Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
10. Track attendance and progress.
11. Produce a year-end dance recital.
12. Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor and follow the Association’s current employee and member injury reporting procedures.
13. All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Dance or related degree from an accredited college preferred.
2. Previous teaching experience required.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
5. Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
