The Human Resources Specialist performs recruitment support for positions across the organization and advise hiring managers from sourcing through pre-employment screening. Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on-site. This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday 8a-5p. 

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers for employee relations matters. Partner with Regional Human Resources Manager to investigate and provide support to employees and managers to resolve workplace issues that may include but is not limited to internal investigations, filing disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans, mentoring and coaching in management practices and communication skills. Support is provided in person or electronically depending on the situation
  2. Perform recruitment tasks for entry to mid-level positions via sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, and extending offers. Act as a liaison between candidate(s) and internal hiring manager(s) throughout interview process; collecting feedback and communicating next steps; maintaining positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  3. Support employee onboarding through orientation facilitation and coordinating new hire’s training schedule to ensure new hire complete all Compliance training. Support offboarding through exit interviews, resignation and termination processing, and collecting company property.
  4. Monitor, support, and facilitate development activities, training coordination and tracking through WinnSkills360 and communications to various employee groups as policies/processes change or as training is needed
  5. Collaborate with benefits specialist in management of employee leave status, issues and compliance, and reasonable accommodations
  6. Assist Payroll Specialist with timecard maintenance and bi-weekly Payroll audits
  7. Contribute to special projects as needed.
