POSITION SUMMARY
Provide support to senior banking staff in the on-going credit evaluation of existing and prospective customers. The Credit Analyst analyzes the financial health of borrowers and is responsible for gathering and reviewing credit information for term loans and credit lines based on required criteria. The Credit Analyst interacts with a variety of professionals and represents the bank in interactions with clients and other professionals.

Prepare relationship, collateral, loan agreement compliance and profitability summaries
Prepare industry research
Prepare financial analysis memorandums
Prepare loan memorandums
Attend loan committee meeting to include presentation of credit requests
Attend weekly sales meetings
Research, identification and development of prospects
Making customer and prospect calls
Develop information requests for credit and/or deposit and treasury service opportunities
Prepare term sheets for credit requests
Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position

REQUIREMENTS
Business Degree preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrates an understanding of credit management, credit operations and commercial lending
Ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment and maintain confidentiality
High level of attention to detail, with strong problem solving and organization skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports
Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile
Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials
Regularly lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds
