RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Lead IT Client Device Engineer to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Lead IT Client Device Engineer, you will be responsible for the oversite of the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale automation for client devices across our healthcare organization. This role leads the client device team and collaborates with clinical, cybersecurity, and infrastructure groups to ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of all end-user devices—including workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile platforms—while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, security, and operational reliability in a clinical environment. This position is full-time, working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(60%) IT End User Device Deployment

  1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated workflows for provisioning and configuring client devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) configuration, patching, environment standardization, and software deployment across the healthcare organization.
  2. Ability to manage gold images, experience with creating and troubleshooting custom task sequences.
  3. Create, package, and deploy software using modern tools and techniques to ensure scalability, reliability, and minimal user disruption.
  4. Lead the transition from SCCM/MECM to Microsoft Intune, ensuring a smooth migration of configurations and deployments.
  5. Oversee enterprise endpoint management systems such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
  6. Develop and maintain advanced scripts and automation routines (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline IT operations and enforce standardization.
  7. Set architectural standards and best practices for device configuration, imaging, security baselines, packaging, documentation, and software deployments.
  8. Serve as the key escalation point for complex endpoint issues, including those impacting clinical operations, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to device provisioning, authentication, and application delivery.
  9. Ensure maintenance of thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and compliance requirements by IT Client Device Engineers.
  10. Monitor endpoint fleet health, performance, and security using analytics and reporting dashboards.
  11. Participate in audits and change advisory boards (CAB) as needed.
  12. Participate in on-call support and assist with endpoint-related incident response as needed.

(20%) Client Device Automation

  1. Create and maintain advanced scripts and automation routines (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline IT operations and enforce standardization.
  2. Ensure alignment of automation solutions with healthcare compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  3. Collaborate with clinical teams to understand workflow needs and deliver reliable, high-performance device experiences in patient care areas.
  4. Automate key tasks, including patch management, software deployment, and device inventory/reporting.

(15%) Team Member Leadership Supervision

  1. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership, documentation, and training on automation frameworks and tools.
  2. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for team
  3. Schedule on-call rotation for the CDE team
  4. Schedule regular 1:1 meetings with each team member
  5. Facilitate regular CDE team meetings

(5%) Perform other related duties as assigned
