Company Overview
- Leadership and mentoring to the quality assurance team, including both manual testing and automated testing. (50%) Responsible for the overall quality assurance platform design.
- Serves as an expert in all aspects of software quality assurance and the software testing life cycle.
- Define and scale a modern QA strategy and roadmap that aligns with an Agile and continuous delivery environment.
- Builds and maintains team culture across local and remote employees.
- Be an expert in the products developed by the development team and have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Prototyping or planning POCs justifying new technologies. Actively leading the team in investigating and innovating modern technology solutions to solve business problems.
- Technical project management for multiple complex QA projects. (20%)
- Lead and organize QA Intake initiatives with the team across all Shamrock Technology.
- Consult on complex projects and is considered the top-level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Estimates and recommends project resource allocations to upper management.
- Delegates resources and coordinates testing responsibilities across multiple complex projects within many products.
- Oversee reporting to demonstrate the value of the QA team and identify bottlenecks in the testing process.
- Lead monthly summary meetings with senior stakeholders to communicate progress and align strategic priorities across initiatives.
- Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years’ experience of software development and deployment of distributed multi-tier applications
- 5+ years’ experience of QA leadership experience with emphasis on automated testing
