Hybrid 2025-26 Extended Care and Lunch Monitor at Diocese of Joliet

• Signing children in upon arrival and out when they leave

• Working independently as well as with a team

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, feel with hands, reach with arms, walk up or down multiple flights of stairs, and be physically able to perform duties as assigned, including the ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds if needed.
• Works in standard office and school building environments but also has ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.

• High school diploma is required.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education is a plus, but not required.
• An Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), Illinois Substitute License, or ELS(PARA) is a plus, but not required.
• Must love working with children and previous experience is preferred.
• Hourly compensation will be in accordance with experience.
• This is a part-time, unbenefited position, hours not to exceed 29 hours per week. 

Conditions of Employment

• S/he must complete PGC and have a current favorable Criminal Background Check (CBC) with fingerprinting protocol through Accurate Biometrics.
• This is a part-time, unbenefited position. 

• Final rate will be determined by relevant years of experience in a similar job combined with education and professional licensure

• Paid personal leave days
