SUMMARY
The Recovery Services Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervision and coordination of delivery of clinical treatment services at RS EDEN’s Recovery programs. This position supervises the clinical team responsible for providing direct participant services including LADC, ADC-T, and interns. They ensure participant services are delivered in a therapeutic, trauma responsive, ethical way with attention to meeting DHS and MDH licensing statutes and guidelines. They are responsible for monitoring, training and supervising clinicians providing direct client services. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical services to participant when needed and uses the American Society of Addiction Medicines criteria to ensure all clients are in the right level of service. The Clinical Supervisor is expected to be innovative and creative, flexible, and willing to apply learned practices and experiences effectively while overseeing programming and providing clinical services to clients. The Clinical Supervisor must have excellent time management practices. Sound organizational skills and the ability to multitask are a must. Must be able to devote the time and energy required to ensuring that services provided are empirically supported and align with best practices and provided with skill. Must be able to resolve conflict with staff and participants. Must possess the ability to work through crisis situations in a professional, therapeutic, and positive manner.
Pay ranges from $85,000 - $92,000 annually
RESPONSIBILITES
Provides supervision and monitoring of clinical services
Participate in hiring, orientation and training of new clinical staff
Supervise counseling staff including LADC, ADC-T, and SUD interns
Facilitate routine staff meetings, trainings, individual and group supervision for clinicians
Review clinical documents and treatment service delivery for adherence to and compliance with 245G requirements
Conduct participant treatment file reviews and assess for appropriate initial placement, continuing care and discharge according to the American Society of Addiction Medicine
Assess and address ethical and professional competence of staff
Assess and implement program processes to maintain a therapeutic culture
Participate in court appearances or delegate appearances and responsibility to appropriate staff members
Coordinate, monitor and adjust daily program schedules
Assist in the oversight of the day to day operations of clinical services
Partner with the Director of Recovery Programming on assigning staff duties, hiring, discipline, and terminations
Assist in enforcing, administering, revising, and developing management and operational policies and procedures, as required
Act as liaison with other service providers
Assist in data collection
Safeguard personally identifiable health information (PHI) in accordance with duties and current agency HIPAA notification statement and standards
Direct clinical staff in the usage of 42CFR to ensure compliance with federal regulations
Attain, maintain, and promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Required
Current Minnesota LADC license
4-yr. degree in counseling or related field, or equivalent training and experience
3 or more years’ experience in delivery of SUD group and individual treatment services
BBHT approved LADC Supervisor designation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success
Current Mantoux test (annual requirement thereafter).
Must be able to favorably pass applicable criminal history/background checks.
One year off correctional supervision.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Substance Use Disorder Counseling or related field
- At least one year of experience as a Clinical Supervisor or similar role
- Fluent in EHR navigation
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Valid state driver’s license
