Human Resources Coordinator
Hourly Base Rate: $20.15-$29.07.
Shift: Days, Monday-Friday
Hours: 40/week

Cheer on one of the University of Oregon’s sports teams or attend the NCAA Track and Field Championship or the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials less than 10 minutes from our hospital.
The Human Resources Coordinator will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. Facilitates daily HR functions such as maintaining accurate employee records, tracking licenses and certifications, responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing "first level" assistance to employees. Redirects HR-related calls and/or distributes correspondence to the appropriate person of the HR team, maintains personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and electronic form and ensure all employment requirements are met. Some examples of job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Point of contact for walk-in visitors
- Checking general HR voicemail and email accounts and directing inquiries to the right person
- Paper and electronic filing
- Data entry
- Supports Employee Recognition and other Employee programs
- Helps answer employee benefits questions to include retirement plan. Helps to communicate all benefits to employees and acts as liaison between employees and insurance companies regarding specific claims.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Federal, State and Local Employment laws
- Knowledge of UltiPro HRIS preferred; familiarity with HealthStream is helpful
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service Skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at once
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- Proven experience (2 years +) as an HR Coordinator or similar administrative position
- Strong ability in using MS Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g. Ultipro) preferred
- Ability to work with ATS software
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Prior Human Resources Experience preferred
- HR Certificate or similar credentials/education preferred. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred.
