PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hardware Acquisition Lead with experience in full lifecycle project management in support of our customers located in St. Inigoes, MD.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
In support of our NAWCAD customers, the PSI Pax Hardware Acquisition Lead will perform full lifecycle project management, coordinate requirements through delivery in support of multiple CI&IDs projects. Responsible for leading a team of hardware analysts in successful cost, schedule, and performance management activities.
Specific duties include:
  • Provides Acquisition support to the Project Leads, Business Financial Managers (BFM) and other CI&IDS organizational units by performing acquisition life cycle analyses to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of division service and/or hardware resources, making recommendations for improving operations, systems, and reporting.  
  • Applies expertise in Navy ERP to support project life cycle acquisition life cycle execution.    
  • Provides support to a variety of CI&IDS Division activities, initiatives, special projects, and data calls that significantly impact business operations.  
  • Supports a variety of CI&IDS projects with full acquisition life cycle Project Management in the areas of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling. This includes interfacing with GPLs and other Government client organizations to coordinate and complete all acquisition processes from requirements through delivery.  
  • Supports Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, coordinates status meetings, provides detailed reports. Collects and analyzes data to support decision management.     
  • Develops appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address Division objectives and supports the CI&IDS Division in achieving its organizational objectives. Reinforces CI&IDS’s strategic information sharing objectives, and achieve an environment supporting net-centricity, data sharing, and collaboration
  • Utilizes government tools to implement and reconcile contract actions.
  • Generates documentation and requirements necessary to initiate contract actions.
  • Develops metrics regarding contract utilization.
  • Recommends decisions to Hardware Acquisition Government Team Lead after thorough data analysis.
  • Supports team inputs for data calls and provide QA.
  • Develops hardware acquisition procurement packages.
  • Supports NAWCAD Lakehurst Procurement Group and NAWCAD Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) team.
  • Assists in developing Procurement Initiation Documents for hardware contracts.
  • Assists with generating Requests for Information and Quote notices for customer. 
  • Collects and analyzes data to support decision management.
  • Reinforces CI&IDS’s strategic information sharing objectives, and achieve an environment supporting net-centricity, data sharing, and collaboration.
  •  Supervise/Lead the PSI Pax Hardware and Services Team ensuring that process documentation is complete, and team members are trained in the processes.
  • Creates and maintains schedules, POA&MS, and action item management, ensuring CI&IDS Acquisition priorities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Serves as conduit between the GPLs and Acquisition Team for hardware purchases.
  • Assists in managing Acquisition Dashboard and analyzes the data to develop actions plans to address data anomalies or operational issues.
  • Provides input to the PM for the Division action item tracking.
  • Reports risks and mitigations, issues, and process improvements to the PM.
  • Direct POC to the CI&IDS Government Hardware Acquisition Lead. 
 
 
Qualifications: 
  • At least ten (10) years relevant experience successfully working with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in business acquisitions support.
  • Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Data visualization software proficiency (Qlik, PowerBI)
  
Education Requirements 
  • Master’s degree
  • Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable job functions may be substituted for a master’s degree.
