Job Overview:

MB Vans is Going Digital and we are looking for an intern who is eager to make a huge difference developing and implementing digitalization on our production shopfloor.  This includes ‘Green IT’ (replacing paper with digitalization), eliminating processes requiring manual entry, developing real-time reports to help our production steer priorities, etc.  Preferred candidates will have experience in the growing area of Data Analytics and related tools.

This position will allow the team member to gain insight to the workings of a business and the manufacturing process. You will get an exciting opportunity to support new system implementations as well as current IT projects to provide the best possible IT support for the Business!

The internship will expose the team member to all levels in the organization to assist in building a resume that will allow the team member to become competitive in the job market.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Intern provides the best possible support by assisting with all aspects of production and helping to ensure that the department runs smoothly.

• Support of going Digitial (Digi@566) at MB Vans Charleston.  Digitalize and automate processes in our production and administrative areas to improve efficiency, data accuracy, etc.
• Development and maintenance of PowerBI reports for Business Departments.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports by validating data sources and calculations.
• Support the development and implementation of automation workflows to streamline data processing and reporting tasks. 
• Test and troubleshoot automated processes to ensure reliability and efficiency. 
• Consult with internal business partners to collect demands and translate into business use cases.  Assist with testing.
• Assist with leading Sprint Plans / Daily Scrum Stand-up.
• Support the IT Demand Management.
• Support IT Operations and Processes.
• Scripting (Powershell, Javascript, etc.)
• Support IT Documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.
