Arobas personnel is looking for a Business Analyst for a permanent position with one of our clients located in Montreal.

 *Remote : Hybrid- 1 day/week in the office* 

What does your day to day look like ?

  • Gather business requirements by conducting interviews with stakeholders.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and third-party vendors to design effective solutions.
  • Create detailed specifications for new systems or modifications to existing systems.
  • Facilitate design sessions with development teams to ensure a clear understanding.
  • Plan, lead, and monitor project progress, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback for improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation: user manuals, process guides, training materials.
  • Organize training sessions for end-users.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and process automation.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

What we’re looking for ?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 5 to 10 years of business analysis experience, preferably in IT.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, software development (Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Epicor) and relevant functional modules.
