We are looking for a skilled Site Services Assistant to join our Cleckheaton confectionery site – the home of some of the UK’s most nostalgic sweets.

This is a full-time, on-site role supporting the smooth running of our facilities. If you’re practical, proactive, and like to keep things ticking behind the scenes, this could be just the role for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting general site maintenance across buildings, equipment, and grounds

• Carrying out basic repairs, inspections, and minor installations

• Liaising with external contractors for larger works

• Keeping communal areas tidy and operational

• Helping ensure our site meets health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Responding to service requests and assisting in keeping the site safe and efficient

• Practical experience in basic building maintenance, joinery, plumbing, or similar hands-on tasks

• Someone who takes pride in their work and likes to get stuck in

• Ability to work independently and prioritise daily tasks

• A positive attitude and willingness to support across teams when needed

• Good awareness of safe working practices

You don’t need to be a qualified tradesperson, but a background in facilities, site maintenance, or general repair would set you up for success.
