Ag Ingenuity Partners (AIP), the research division of Advanced Agrilytics, is seeking a Research Field Specialist to join our Illinois AIP team! The Research Field Specialist provides support to our field-scale research operations and team members. The role encompasses multiple aspects of client, grower, and field facing roles from in-field agronomic observations and sample collection/processing, to assisting in data collection/management and evaluation. A Research Field Specialist should be someone who has a desire for learning, a self-starter, a focus on detail and a passion for helping the company manage operations to produce sustainable outcomes.

How you will help us grow:
  • Partner with AIP Operations Lead to ensure research protocol work is executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide support for in-field data collection and sample processing according to protocol specifics and following-up on critical issues
  • Communicates effectively with internal and/or external grower/client contacts for the execution of protocol work
  • Ability to travel to network of internal and external trial locations for agronomic observations and in-field collections
  • Maintain a high level of organization to ensure all aspects of data collection and analysis are done accurately and efficiently


    • Experience you bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in agriculture, agronomy, or related field strongly preferred
  • 0-2 years' experience in agronomy related field
  • On-farm experience preferred
  • Field research experience is a plus
  • High attention to detail, with ability to follow research protocols
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to site locations and research facility
  • Physical ability to handle equipment and perform field-based tasks
  • Must reside in the U.S., and live in the applicable regional territory
