What You’ll Do

• Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals
• Monitor processing of cash receipts and payments
• Ensure timely collection of payments
• Conduct credit checks, make appropriate credit decisions, and monitor credit limits
• Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual reports
• Organize records of all AR correspondence, reporting, and deposits
• Ensure high-quality collection procedures that comply with the law
• Identify Bad Debt accounts and necessary write-offs
• Support Accounts Receivable Clerks on a daily basis and train new team members

What You’ll Need

• Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor
• Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
• Team management and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Minimum AS degree in Accounting or Finance
