Overview:

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate to process shipments in internal software system, generate bills of lading, and print shipping labels.

Responsibilities:
  • Process bills of lading

 

  • Confirm/process shipments

 

  • Scan and upload documents into internal software

 

  • Cycle count/ Inventory control

 

  • Warehouse transfers

 

  • Check-in/Check-out procedures with Truck Drivers

 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

 

  • Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner all day, every day in a fast paced industrial production environment

 

  • Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment all day, every day

 

  • Ability to work with heavy steel industrial equipment

 

  • 6S

 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED

 

  • Basic computer skills

 

  • Customer service skills

 

  • Work with minimum supervision

 

  • Must be comfortable in a warehouse environment.

 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner

 

  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starter

 

  • Able to work overtime as needed and some Saturdays

 

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours

 

  • Must be able to work as a team player

 

  • Must align with the Snap-on mission statement

 

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
