To provide effective leadership and management of the Bath College Futures Curriculum Team at Bath College, ensuring the successful delivery of the Bath College Futures Curriculum across both campuses. The role is focused on achieving outstanding standards in teaching, learning, and assessment, driving student success and progression, and supporting the growth and recruitment of learners within the Bath College Futures provision.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Management Team and Head of Bath College Futures in communicating and executing the College’s strategic plan.
- Promote the vision, mission, and values of the College.
- Manage the agreed Department devolved budget and ensure the effective and efficient use of allocated resources, including the deployment of staff resources and the planning and completion of timetables for staff.
- Promote the highest professional standards to students and staff in all aspects of the role, maintaining a visible presence around the College and leading by example.
- Provide leadership within the Bath College Futures Curriculum Team, developing and implementing operational and improvement plans in line with College objectives.
- Ensure high quality teaching, learning and assessment in the curriculum area.
- Assist the Head of Bath College Futures in mapping the external environment and curriculum development and planning.
- Celebrate and reward student and staff success.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Teaching qualification (minimum L5)
- ILM qualified (or willingness to work towards)
- Safeguarding and Prevent Level 1 Certificate (or a willingness to work towards one within a stipulated time period)
