VAN DRIVER / ACTIVTIES ASSISTANT, Greenwood Care, Evanston, IL

Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Opening for Van Driver who will also Assist with Activities for our Consumers. This is a Full Time Position with Variable 1st and/or 2nd Shift Hours, based upon the Outings and Appointments of our Consumers.

Some Weekends will be Required.

Pay is $17 per hour, plus Full Benefit Package

Responsibilities of the Van Driver/Activities Assistant:

• Drive Consumers to and from appointments
• Plan, set up, and drive consumers/staff on outings and trips as needed
• Assist with in house activities for consumers
• Act as liaison with facility for community events
• Assist with consumer transitional resources

Requirements

of the Van Driver/Activities Assistant:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable driving 12 seat van
• Have valid Driver's License and a good driving record (we will run MVR check on Driver's License)
• Experience with activities a plus
