The Lead Line cook drives kitchen execution by leading the line, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the culinary vision of Pink Taco. This position works closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to train, motivate, and guide kitchen staff in a high-energy, fast paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily kitchen operation during service.
  • Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, speed, and accuracy. 
  • Train and mentor line cooks, prep cooks and support staff. 
  • Ensure all dishes meet Pink Taco's quality, flavor, and presentation standards. 
  • Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices at all times. 
  • Communicates effectively with FOH staff to ensure smooth service flow. 
  • Assist with inventory management, prep lists, and station organization. 
  • Uphold a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a lead line cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong cooking skills with knowledge. of station management and ticket flow. 
  • Ability to lead a team under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent communication ad problem-solving skills. 
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred 
  • Passion for delivering bold flavors and exceptional guest experiences. 
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, speak)
