Hybrid Project Specialist at MANTECH

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Specialist to join our team onsite in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is an onsite position.Join the Navy's Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program and contribute to the evolution of warfighter readiness. We provide critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy's premier Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training capability. Our work involves seamlessly integrating live training with synthetic systems to create highly realistic and complex global training environments. We also drive the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, and model new weapons technologies and emerging threats, ensuring our forces are prepared for any challenge.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide proactive administrative support to ManTech’s Project Management teamConduct project analysis and formal reporting on project metrics to include cost, schedule and performanceCreate and maintain integrated master scheduleConduct gap analysis to identify potential risks to projects based on available resourcesEnsure project management reporting is in compliance with company policyServe as a resource to project managers in creating and monitoring project budgets and schedulesAssist with cost estimation development and preparing cost performance estimates for planned workMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant experienceExperience in Project Management related to IT systemsExperience working with project budgetsExperience with MS Excel and MS PowerpointPreferred Qualifications:Experience in leading analytical efforts on highly complex and mission specific operational problemsExperience in directing and collaborating with technical teams on operational and/or developmental projects throughout the system life cycle (development of requirements to final delivery)Experience in MS ProjectClearance Requirements:US Citizenship and active Secret security clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printerThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Apply Now
