As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and assisting with reporting. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, commercial teams, and wider operations. Together you’ll help drive the commercial success of our games and business as a whole.
This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation. If you're not already based locally, we’ll support your move with comprehensive relocation assistance and visa sponsorship, ensuring a smooth transition.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter sales and purchase invoices into our accounting systems
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and create bank payment runs
Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate accruals and prepayments, and support other balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and VAT returns
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly royalty statements
Help maintain the employee expenses tracker
Liaise with suppliers and customers, resolving any issues or escalating them to the Finance Manager
Support management with monthly and quarterly reporting
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a UK/European company
Full or part-qualified (ICAI, B.Com/M.Com, AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or a finance-related degree
Strong spreadsheet skills, including knowledge of advanced formulas like VLOOKUP and SUMIF
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A collaborative team player with great communication skillsBased in our Bangalore office for 5 days per week.
