Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead and guide a team of Development engineers and Supplier Technical Assistance Engineers to achieve project goals.
• Manage development, quality, and delivery timelines for BIW & structural assemblies, including TSO, QS, VOB, TKO, MRD, and skin panels.
• Collaborate with other commodity leads, COE/ DVP(testing)/ SSU/ Quality/ SCM for new product development, capacity expansion and IMCR activity.
• Report progress, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into new product development and establish packaging agreements and supply chain conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering

General Requirements

Extensive knowledge in BIW sheet metal, die design, welding technology, fixturing, and supplier management, along with RM selection and steel grade applications.
