Job Title: Site Safety Manager
Location: Hamilton, OH
Travel: 20–30% (includes visits to Louisville, KY; Indianapolis, IN; and customer sites)
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday–Friday); occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Role Overview
The Site Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors across our project sites. This includes developing and enforcing safety programs, conducting audits, and driving a culture of safety in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site-specific safety programs and HASPs
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Maintain JSAs and compliance documentation
- Deliver OSHA, DOT, and EPA safety training
- Evaluate and maintain safety equipment and technology
- Oversee third-party safety compliance platforms
- Investigate incidents and near-misses with root cause analysis
- Ensure PPE compliance and promote safety awareness
- Collaborate with project managers and site leaders
- Monitor regulatory changes and best practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5–7 years in safety compliance (preferred)
- Regulatory Knowledge: OSHA, EPA, DOT/FMCSA, RCRA, HAZWOPER
- Preferred Industry Experience: Manufacturing, petrochemical, food processing, or heavy industry
Competencies
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to lead teams with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in safety technologies and compliance systems
- Training and presentation skills
- Capable of working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred: CSP certification
- Required: OSHA 10-hour, HAZWOPER 40-hour, Valid Driver’s License
Physical & Work Environment
- Mix of office and field work; exposure to mechanical hazards, chemicals, and weather
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, standing, bending
- Interactions with both public and private stakeholders
