Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Valid Administrator/Principal certificate preferred
Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
Experience with KISD student assessment data platform as an Instructional leader
Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with developing and delivering professional learning
Ability to multi-task and communicate ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Understanding of technical requirements for online student assessment data platforms
Ability to utilize technology with advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft 365
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to support leadership teams, teachers, and other staff for the effective use of the local assessment data platform including the creation/administration of assessments and student data reports.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the local assessment data platform and assist with district learning assessments.
- Collaboratively work with campuses and central office departments on the creation/administration of assessments along with student data reports.
- Identify, design, and conduct professional learning for school-based staff and central office on the local assessment platform.
- Develop effective communication processes to ensure strong and responsive support is provided for district users.
- Create ancillary documents to assist all Katy ISD users with use of the platform.
- Support end users with technology and system related issues in regards to the platform.
- Communicate routinely with platform vendor to troubleshoot technical issues and product updates.
- Remain current on the assessment platform and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Personal computer, printer, copier, distance learning equipment, and scanner.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work with frequent interruptions. Maintain emotional control and positive attitude under stress. Occasional travel within the district. Prolonged use of the computer.
