JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Internal Audit, plans, organizes, and completes audit and advisory engagements by developing appropriate scope, audit programs, and documentation to support work performed and conclusions made, and writing associated reports. Evaluates controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.  Effectively communicates results and collaborates with management to develop action plans in support of achieving their business objectives.  Assists with the external financial statement audit process as assigned.  Develops and maintains favorable working relationships with organizational management, associates, and others to create a good understanding of the Internal Audit function and its services.

Qualifications


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree 

Licensure: Licenses and Certifications: Preferred one of the following:  CPA, IAP, CIA, CHIAP®, CRMA, CFE, or similar.

Experience: Minimum 4 years of internal audit, public accounting, or healthcare experience; healthcare internal audit experience is preferred.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, adaptability, and initiative.  Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of management.  Experience with MS Office software (Word, Excel).  Experience with Workday and Epic are a plus. Comfortable completing work relatively independently.
