POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the physical condition of the school and grounds. Develop and promote good community relations among all stakeholders. This position will also substitute for other custodians at different locations as needed and directed by the Director of Operations and Maintenance or the Supervisor of Operations and Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform cleaning and maintenance related to the upkeep and operation of the site.
Set up and disassemble for groups, special events or activities.
Assist supervisor with inventory of supplies and equipment.
Snow removal from walkways and other areas.
Establish student, staff and parental rapport that allows for a proactive response to potential problems.
Actively participate in PLCs and other required training.
Apply and implement knowledge, skills and new understands to support site.
Substitutefor other custodians at different locations as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
SUPERVISION/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prioritize and schedule work tasks independently.
Create and implement effective and efficient process management strategies (e.g., procedures, equipment, materials, and supplies).
Maintain accurate records in accordance with professional standards, state guidelines, and school system policy.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Bilingual (preferred).
One (1) year job related experience (preferred).
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical units (preferred).
English fluency will be determined through the interview process.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Colorado Driver's License.
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

WAGE:
Hourly rate from $17.96 to $20.32 per hour, depending upon education and related experience.
