Hybrid Jr High/JV Girls Tennis Coach at Sourcewell

Aitkin High School is searching for a Junior Varisty/Junior High Tennis Coach for the 2025-26 school year.  The position will work with the head coach to oversee the junior varsity and junior high level of the tennis activities district wide and support the development of the overall program.   This coaching position will start in mid August and runs to the end of the season in late October.  The practice schedule is set for 2-3 hours/day (Approximately 3:30 - 5:30 PM) depending on the different fall sports teams and needs for the existing facilities. 

Responsibilities of the tennis coach it Include:

• Supporting the head Tennis coaches with the different levels of tennis activities within the district.

• Promoting and developing programs that builds relationships with other high school programs and encourage involvement with school activities.

• To provide a positive image of school at activities in the Aitkin school district.

• Aiding in setting up camps and learning opportunities for the different levels of participants.

• To teach all participants to function as individuals and to contribute to the accomplishments of a group or team.

• Focus on promoting leadership in the program and community.

• To teach all participants the skills of play in various sports according to the rules of the game.
