Hybrid Quality Assurance Supervisor at ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works in a safe manner and follows all company EH&S rules.
• Monitors the results of the Quality of the production process and communicates the information concerning quality to the Plant Manager and Director of Quality.
• Performs QC Testing of Finished and In Process materials.
• Acts as a spokesperson to our customers regarding customer complaints, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer audits.
• Oversees implementation of all Quality and Safety systems to meet ISO 9001and ISO 45001.
• Responsible for entering supplier complaints.  
• Responsible for document control of finishing specifications.
• Responsible for:
  1. Lab computer issues.
  2. Lab equipment yearly calibration.
  3. Ordering lab supplies.
  4. Weekly Quality Review Meetings.
  5. Monthly customer call with Sales, Production, etc., along with Shift Lead.
  6. QA slides for monthly Town Hall meetings.
• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Responsibilities of this position as it directly influences the Quality of the finished product.  Management is committed to improving the quality of goods and services through the philosophy of "Total Quality Management."
• Initiates ideas and develops proposals for improving Quality of everything we do as measured by our customers and for reducing costs, in order to make the Company more competitive in the marketplace.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and Director of Quality.

Required Experience:

• Two years of QC testing in a manufacturing environment or a recent graduate with a B.S. degree in Chemistry.

Preferred Experience

• Two years working with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards. 
• Two years experience working in in printing and label manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
• Organizational skills
• Presentation skills.   
• Strong leadership skills.
