Sagepath Reply seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Sr. QA Analyst to join a 14-month project involving a complex web application built with a React frontend and a custom Java backend. This full-time role will receive direction and oversight from a QA Lead and closely collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product owners to build and execute test cases.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing (Design and maintain detailed functional test cases based on user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Execute manual test cases, document results, and track test coverage across iterative releases. Log clear and actionable defect reports and assist in verification of fixes during regression cycles).
UI/UX and Cross-Browser Validation (Compare implemented UI against design specifications provided in Figma and/or Zeplin, ensuring high visual and functional accuracy. Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing using BrowserStack to identify layout, behavior, and styling inconsistencies across platforms and devices. Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve UI/UX discrepancies.)
API and Middleware Testing (Validate API endpoints and middleware logic for correct request/response behavior, data integrity, and error handling. Use tools such as Postman or Insomnia to independently execute and verify API test cases. Coordinate with backend developers to clarify business logic and troubleshoot backend issues.)
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in QA for web applications
Strong understanding of web architectures, particularly React and Java-based systems
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience participating in sprint ceremonies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress or Selenium
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and QA’s role in deployment workflows
Awareness of accessibility testing practices and standards (e.g., WCAG)
