ESL Teacher, Kindergarten, Weston Elementary School
Tenure Track, Full time position

We are seeking dedicated and passionate ESL Teacher to join our team Kindergarten team at Weston Elementary School in Manville. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing effective ESL instructional programs that support English language acquisition and academic achievement for non-native English-speaking students.

Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging ESL lessons that align with state standards, district curriculum, and individual student needs

• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to promote English language development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing

• Assess students' language proficiency levels and monitor progress through formal and informal assessments

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of ESL students into content area instruction

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that values cultural diversity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate with ESL endorsement

• Experience teaching ESL

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs

• Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
