Hybrid 4 Hour Nutrition Services at Willard R-2 School District

Position: Food Service Worker

1. Ability to read and understand menus and recipes.

2. Be able to follow verbal and written directions. Desire to work with children, have good communication skills and ability to work with students, faculty.

3. Baking and cooking skills

4. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

5. Ability to stand on your feet for an extended time during the work day.

6. High School Diploma

1. Maintenance of food service operation in full compliance with public and state health codes.

2. Conduct inventories of freezer and storeroom.

3. Maintain cleanliness of entire kitchen facility. Schedule daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of floors, ovens, freezers, and refrigerators.

4. Uses tools and equipment with safety guards in place, wipes up spills right away, reports unsafe conditions to supervisor promptly. Promptly reports injury/accidents to supervisors.

5. Reports on time for work. Notifies supervisor of absences before the start of the work day.
