Job Description: Responsible for the daily operation of the I.S. Help Desk to include answering the phones, logging and triaging calls, resolving help desk tickets/issues and documenting completely in the TrackIt software.  Provides first level support for all electronic or telephony generated requests for service. The Help Desk Analyst is also responsible for tracking and reporting each request; documenting the responses given; initiating follow-up calls to user departments regarding the status of requests; miscellaneous table and account maintenance; password resets and low priority software installations.  

 

Qualifications:

  •   AAS degree in Information Systems (or related field) or minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience in a customer support related field.

Preferred: BS in Information Systems or computer related field with 3 years of work experience and strong technical skills.


Experience: 2 years’ applicable experience or an equivalent combination of work experience and education in a networked computing environment. Experience troubleshooting Mac and PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devices (iOS, Android). Client PC connectivity – Ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN.   Competency in MS Office Suite. Ability to solve problems. Strong analytical skills.
