Responsibilities
- Inspect parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness and/or damage in compliance with standards
- Thoroughly clean interior and exterior of New, Used, Rental, and Service guest vehicles
- Pre-soak or rinse vehicles from dirt prior to washing
- Wash and polish the entire vehicle
- Shampoo and condition interior upholstery
- Deodorize interior
- Extract stains as needed
- Clean vehicle engine compartment
- Use degreaser, pressure washer, cleaning agents, and water base super shine for a superior finish
- Install dealer tags and decals on vehicles prior to being placed on the lot for sale
Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Experience working in an automotive or detail shop
- Able to work flexible schedules and some Saturdays
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- General mechanical skills and manual dexterity
- Positive attitude, can-do attitude and an eagerness to improve
- Able to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
