Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Center Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Daytona Beach imaging center. This role works closely with the Center Manager to oversee both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Center Manager with daily operational oversight
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff
Help enforce consistent policies and procedures across the center
Maintain strong relationships with referring physicians to support service excellence
Monitor workflow, improve patient throughput, and ensure quality control standards
Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and expense tracking
Participate in community outreach events as needed
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards
Serve as a backup technologist when needed (if applicable)
Collaborate with billing and administrative teams to resolve operational issues
Facilitate training and support team development
Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography preferred but not required
Experience
Experience managing or leading in an outpatient imaging or healthcare setting
Strong leadership and communication skills in fast-paced environments
Supervisory or team lead experience is highly desirable
Equivalent education and experience will be considered
Certifications (Preferred but not required)
Licensure or certification in imaging technology
Skills & Abilities
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in workflow management and operational process improvement
Familiarity with medical terminology and managed care
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution capabilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient care when needed
Frequent standing, sitting, and walking
Occasional travel between centers may be required
Working Conditions
Onsite in a clinical and office environment
May require occasional evenings or weekends
Frequent interaction with staff, patients, and providers
