Job Summary: To clean all auto door parts in accordance with DCU standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To load & unload power washers & tumblers with dirty parts.
- To hand wash certain critical parts as needed.
- To load & unload vibratory system to polish certain parts as trained.
- To teardown & clean power washers & tumblers as scheduled by supervisor.
- To clean washroom floors & walls when needed.
- To power off washroom equipment when shift is over to ensure heating elements from burning out.
- To properly dispose of grease & sludge properly.
- To rinse & dry washed products properly to prevent rusting or spotting of cleaned parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.
- Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to stand for entire shift
- Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Be able to work in hot climates during the summer months.
