Hybrid PBISTeacher-One Year Position at Regional School Unit 24

The PBIS Teacher supports the implementation of PBIS strategies, and collaborates with the MTSS team to assist in the development and implementation of intervention plans.

This position is split equally between Peninsula and Ella Lewis schools.

• Provide weekly instruction to PK-5 classrooms using our district approved social-emotional curriculum.

• Teach individual students and small groups social and emotional skills, emotion regulation strategies, and conflict resolution skills.

• Develop tools and resources to support students' emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and peer relationships.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to understand student needs and identify appropriate interventions

• Gather and analyze data to monitor student progress toward goals and whole school trends.

• Collaborate with the MTSS team to coordinate interventions and behavior plans.

• Implement and support PBIS initiatives to promote a positive school climate.

• Partner with families and community organizations to meet student needs.

• Support attendance initiatives and student engagement efforts

• Engage in ongoing professional development in PBIS and best practices to be implemented in the classroom.
