Description of Task to be Performed:
Come join our growing team and make a difference every day! AnaVation is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to lead a small team of team of engineers who will create innovative engineering solutions. The selected candidate will collaborate with non-technical, investigators and analysts to understand their technology or data needs, recommend solutions, and translate those needs to technical requirements. The SSE will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements collection, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and quality assurance.
The SEE will also design, code, test, and debug software independently or as part of a development team, including but not limited to:
· New custom capabilities
· Modifications to existing code;
· Process improvements
· Workflow and O&M automation
· Large-scale data processing
· Computationally intensive statistical modeling
· Advanced analytics.
The SSE will also perform O&M-related tasks, including but not limited to:
· New feature scoping and development
· Troubleshooting and customer assistance
· Scope patches by reviewing usage and/or error logs
· Refactor code · Create/Assist with creating basic software documentation.
The SSE will evaluate COTS, GOTS, OSS, and other software and systems to implement algorithmically complex data and technology solutions. Programmatically integrate third-party components.
This position is on-site in Hunstville, AL and requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain an CI clearance with a polygraph.
