QED Systems, LLC is currently recruiting a Property Coordinator (Specialist) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
The Property Coordinator must be experienced in the safe handling and transportation of equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties:
- Performs supply and warehousing activities that include requisition, receipt, control, storage, inventory, issuing and delivery of all equipment and material support at a specific facility. Conducts stock item research, issues parts/materials, and monitors item usage and quantity levels.
- Conducts equipment inventory and maintains property accountability documentation.
- Updates Government property book Databases entitled: Global Combat Support System-Army (GCCS-A), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and Decision Support Tool (DST).
- Performs equipment transfers using Army forms related to maintenance and property accountability such as 3161 (Request for Issue or Turn-In), 2062 (Hand Receipt), DD Form 1149 (Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Document), DD 250 (Material inspection and Receiving Report), and 1348 (Issue Release/Receiving Document).
- Establishes and maintains primary hand receipt and all sub hand receipts and all aspects of inventory management.
- Notifies the Government lead of any/all warranty or maintenance activity being performed on equipment including monitoring expiring warranties and maintenance support contracts when appropriate.
- Uploads completed forms into SharePoint for tracking purposes.
- Ensures that all equipment (sustaining base and project) is properly in and out processed IAW the organization and its subordinate directorates issue/ship outgoing supplies/equipment from storage to other destinations internal or external to the organization and its subordinate directorates via Shipping/Receiving SOP.
- Prepares all shipments from packaging to include labeling and coordinating with the Garrison Shipping Clerk for Army transport.
- Performs Monthly and Annual Inventories of all Government equipment located at the facilities, warehouses, offices, laboratories, and/or at contractor facilities IAW applicable Department of the Army (DA) Regulations and prepare reports for government leads.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in property management databases such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, PIEE, and LIW.
- Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Experienced in briefing various levels of management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
- HS/GED credit with six (6) years of related experience required.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be performed in various locations, including government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse/maintenance shops, and/or field environments that include extended periods outdoors.
Physical Demands:
Physical demands of this position include ability to:
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
- Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks.
- Operate powered vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
- Lift/push/pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $74,300.00 - $91,200.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
