Hybrid XR Tech Video Editor & Motion Designer at Linda Werner & Associates

Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled Video Editor & Motion Designer with 5–7 years of experience in video editing, AR/VR visualization, AI-driven video generation, and cinematic storytelling. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling visual narratives that showcase the capabilities of XR Tech to cross-functional (XFN) partners, drive internal alignment, and elevate the visibility of our cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, engaging videos that communicate XR Tech innovations to internal audiences, including PMs and EMs.
• Market XR Tech initiatives—such as Codec Avatars and 3D GenAI—through visually impactful content.
• Collaborate across XR Tech pillars to gather assets and maintain a steady pipeline of creative material.
• Develop strategies for creating viral, short-form content that stands out in a crowded internal media landscape.
• Provide creative direction and guidance on video formats, storytelling techniques, and visual trends.
• Use Adobe After Effects to visualize and promote AR sharing capabilities (e.g., IG Reels, AR VFX) across XR workstreams.
• [Optional] Support the creation of storyboards and other marketing collateral.
• Report to the XR Experiences Team while serving the broader XR Tech organization.

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects or equivalent motion design tools.
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
• Experience shooting with DSLR and mobile cameras.
• Proven track record in short-form video creation for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Skilled in voiceover recording, AI voice generation, and comfortable presenting on camera.
• Familiarity with AI video production tools, previsualization, and concept development.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver polished content with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in color grading and video finishing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience capturing headset footage for AR/VR applications.
• Working knowledge of Unity, camera settings, and post-processing techniques.
• Understanding of 3D graphics, CG workflows, and asset pipelines.
• Familiarity with AR effects and social media short-form video formats, especially IG Reels.
• Background in storyboarding, graphic design, and layout development for marketing materials.
