NICOLEHOLLIS, an award-winning, large size Interior Design firm seeks a talented and motivated Director of 3D Visualization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Heavily collaborate with associate partners, creative directors, clients, principals, design teams, and 3D artists to develop, budget, and implement comprehensive interior architectural design solutions that meet client requirements; present and develop concepts, proposal final layouts and ensuring accurate reflection of team design
- Manage and produce visualization projects to ensure within budget, on schedule and report status
- Confer with Associate Partners to determine objectives, budget, background information, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques, developing concepts during pre-production, and preparing visualizations for client meetings and internal reviews
- Formulate pre-production layout design, gather material specifications, create visualizations and determine style, length, type, photographs, graphics, animation, video, sound, lighting, shading, textures, and elements to achieve photorealistic quality, consistently displaying strong attention to detail and finishes
- Review and approve art/copy materials, and visualizations developed by staff members, ensuring conformity to studio-wide 3D visualization standards and best practices.
- Create custom 3D models, illustrations, furniture models, lighting, accessories, and graphic elements, streamlining and developing a 3D model library through meticulous organization
- Review illustrative material, visualizations, design specifications, 3D visualization to ensure conformity
- Participate in the review of candidates in hiring process, train, and direct staff members who assist in developing design concepts, art layouts, and preparing proofs
- Lead team of 3D visualization artists, providing technical guidance, and fostering creative growth
- Conduct routine studio-wide training on new developments, standards, industry practices, new software, and technology, ensuring team members are up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies
REQUIREMENTS & CORE COMPETENCIES
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior or graphic design, or related field (will accept foreign equivalency), plus 5 years of progressive experience, which may be gained concurrently, in the following:
- Ability to build and maintain an in-house Render Farm using Thinkbox Deadline Software
- Finalize production specs using 3D design for technical application
- Usage of Connecter to create/manage an extensive 3D Library
- Using Topaz AI
