GCEFCU is seeking a responsible and supportive individual to be our Facilities Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting the credit union's investments and supporting our operational objectives. 



This position directs and performs program of maintenance, custodial, remodeling, repairs, and security. 

The scope of maintenance includes all buildings and improvements, grounds and landscaping, utilities and mechanical/electrical systems, parking, equipment, and vehicles. 


     

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains mechanical, electrical and controls systems for all credit union locations. Coordinates and orders contracted services as needed to accomplish repairs not practical to be done in house.  
  • Coordinates with branch personnel to determine needed maintenance, and supply ordering. Supervises, performs and is accountable for grounds maintenance, parking lot and walkway maintenance, branch beautification, maintenance of buildings and for general presentation of GCEFCU properties.  
  • Establishes and carries out a preventative maintenance program for equipment and company fleet of vehicles for which this position has responsibility. Accountable for scheduled maintenance and inspection records.  
  • Reviews and signs off on monthly billing of branch utilities, i.e., electricity, water, cable plus any other monthly maintenance billings, i.e., lawn service, cleaning service. Reviews and signs off on any invoice pertaining to work performed at any branch location.  
  • Acts as liaison with city, county, state, as it relates to fire, security, and occupational safety.  
  • Assesses and monitors facility repairs to ensure cost effectiveness. Recommends criteria for repair versus replacement of facilities. Manages warranty plans at branch locations. 
  • Maintain and develop projects in accordance with the credit union’s strategic plan.
  • Reviews contracts with vendors to ensure that services are being provided within acceptable standards and at competitive pricing.
  • Coordinates inspection and testing of credit union machinery and equipment: including generators, HVAC systems, elevator, etc.
