About the Role:
Join a small, mission-driven team at CareM Management in Albuquerque, NM, where your attention to detail makes a real difference. As our new Payroll Coordinator, you’ll support payroll operations across our Home Health and Hospice divisions — all while gaining mentorship and growing your skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payrolls across four companies using Paylocity, including exempt, non-exempt, and visit-based employees
- Verify timecards and patient visit reports for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare payroll documentation, including tax forms, deductions, and timekeeping logs
- Collaborate closely with HR on compensation updates, terminations, and new hires
- Ensure accurate department coding for labor cost allocations
- Generate and audit data imports/exports within Paylocity
- Assist with manual checks, off-cycle payments, and benefits reconciliation
- Use Excel to audit data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare reports for leadership
- Contribute to the development of payroll process manuals and standard operating procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and payroll regulations
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of payroll, HR, or finance support experience
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Familiarity with home health or hospice payroll structures (per-visit pay, shift differentials) preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail and a love for clean, accurate data
- Clear communicator who works well across departments
- Eagerness to learn and document processes
- Willingness to pursue HR certification within one year of hire
