About the Role:
Join a small, mission-driven team at CareM Management in Albuquerque, NM, where your attention to detail makes a real difference. As our new Payroll Coordinator, you’ll support payroll operations across our Home Health and Hospice divisions — all while gaining mentorship and growing your skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payrolls across four companies using Paylocity, including exempt, non-exempt, and visit-based employees
  • Verify timecards and patient visit reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare payroll documentation, including tax forms, deductions, and timekeeping logs
  • Collaborate closely with HR on compensation updates, terminations, and new hires
  • Ensure accurate department coding for labor cost allocations
  • Generate and audit data imports/exports within Paylocity
  • Assist with manual checks, off-cycle payments, and benefits reconciliation
  • Use Excel to audit data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare reports for leadership
  • Contribute to the development of payroll process manuals and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and payroll regulations

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of payroll, HR, or finance support experience
  • Experience with Paylocity is a plus
  • Familiarity with home health or hospice payroll structures (per-visit pay, shift differentials) preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a love for clean, accurate data
  • Clear communicator who works well across departments
  • Eagerness to learn and document processes
  • Willingness to pursue HR certification within one year of hire

Why Join Us:
At CareM, we bring out the courage in others — and that starts with our people. This is more than a payroll job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven company that values trust, integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning. You’ll work in a close-knit team that prioritizes mentorship and growth, and you’ll help support the healthcare professionals delivering life-changing care across our network.
