Position Summary:

We’re seeking a Social Media-Marketing Intern to join our team 20-25hrs/wk onsite and support the planning, creation, and execution of digital content across our social media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in digital marketing, brand storytelling, and audience engagement to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling content (posts, stories, videos, reels) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, comments, and mentions
  • Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to optimize strategy
  • Help develop and implement social media campaigns aligned with marketing goals
  • Support analytics tracking, performance reports, and insights to inform future content
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to maintain consistent branding
  • Attend meetings and brainstorm sessions to contribute creative ideas

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • Passion for social media and a strong understanding of major platforms
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design, trends, and storytelling
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite is a plus
  • Photography/video editing skills or familiarity with platforms like CapCut, Adobe Express, or InShot is a      bonus
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Must be able to work onsite in Broadview, IL and work 20-25hrs/wk.
