Responsibilities include :
- Coordinating, developing and implementing an effective activities program and other initiatives designed to meet the social, psycho-social and therapeutic needs of the resident.
- To Manage, guide and coach activity coordinators in the department to meet expected goals and maintain a healthy, productive and warm environment.
- To Work with residents to meet their individual goals through the activities and programs implemented.
- Act as a community liaison between families, directors and residents
- Handle discrepancies in a timely manner, including directors as needed
- Investigate missing items and report any grievances to the Executive Director
Applicants should be self-motivated with at-least 2 years experience as Activities Director
