Astria Health is seeking a Occupational Medicine Office Assistant to join our team! This position is part of our Occupational Health department. This will be at our Rapid Care Center in Sunnyside, WA. 

 

Day shift hours 0900-1800.

 

What you get to do every day!

 

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Occupational Medicine drug and alcohol testing program as defined by federal guidelines; serves as the organizational liaison with external contractors; collaborates with Clinic Administration to define and implement program goals and objectives, and performs related duties as assigned. This individual is trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of urinalysis collection and accountability processes. This position requires the ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision. The individual must have an ability to convey a positive and professional image to clients, staff and visitors and must be able to maintain client confidentiality. Must be computer literate and possess good organizational skills. You will: 

  • Attain and maintains knowledge in all aspects of urinalysis collection and breathalyzer analysis, along with associated accountability processes.
  • Maintain client records and demographics; responsible for developing an accurate and efficient filing system for maintenance of accounts/company records.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the Astria Health consortium and maintaining the Clearing House for accurate reporting to clients and selection of random collections as defined by company/government guidelines.
  • Responsible for maintaining Astria Health’s drug screening and alcohol testing program. Understands federal and local regulations, and applicability to position. Ensures that any changes in regulations are promptly incorporated into Astria Health’s procedures in collaboration with Clinic Administration.
  • Complete reports and/or audits related to the program for the US DOT, FTA or other governing bodies.
  • Enroll, manage and disenroll companies in the consortium regularly ensuring an accurate active list of both companies and employees.
  • Complete training for and maintain Client Billing for services rendered in the Electronic Health Record System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
