Job Summary

Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent and/or designee, the school secretary performs specialized secretarial and clerical functions; serves as a personal secretary to the Principal and performs other related work as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by courses in office practices and procedures and the ability to operate office equipment. Must be courteous, confidential, and tactful. Make valid judgments and develop positive relations with the staff and students. One year of experience in secretarial or office clerk experience desired.

Salary Info

8 hours per day, 5 days a week, 11 Months. Holidays, sick leave and vacation benefits. Life insurance for the employee, Health Benefits for the employee and dependents

Comments and Other Information

Conditions of Employment: Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice, pre-employment physical and TB clearance is required for this position. The processing fee for fingerprints will be at the applicant's expense.
