Hybrid RSP INTERANT Teacher Mild/Moderate w/Autism Authorization (Temporary) 2024-2025 (experience with behavior interventions preferred) at Westminster School District

The Westminster School District, located in West Orange County, operates 17 schools: 13 elementary sites, three middle schools, and one site which provides preschool programs. The District has approximately 1,100 employees. The Westminster School District is recognized for high academic achievement and serves about 8,200 students, grades Preschool-8th. The district offers a broad scope of supplemental instructional programs including two dual immersion programs, GATE academy, music and band, exploratory STEAM/Coding programs, and state-of-the-art science and art facilities. The Resource Specialist provides direct instructional services, identifies and implements appropriate support services, and provides consultation services to regular program teachers in conformance with Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) students with special needs. The focus of the Resource Specialist’s efforts will be to enable students to function adequately within the least restrictive environment in which they can be successful, at multiple locations.

Placement will be on the Teacher Salary Schedule noted on the District website. WSD provides credit for ALL previous years of similar service.
