The Multispecialty Clinical Assistant (MA,LPN or RN) delivers nursing care for patients across their life span, and through the use of the nursing process, assesses and documents the effects of care under the supervision of a Clinic Coordinator works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, medical and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will:
- Create a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patients
- Preparing and maintaining patient files by obtaining personal and health information
- Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
- Setting up and stocking examination and procedure rooms
- Sterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification at minimum or Practical/Registered Nurse License in the state of Tennessee
- Employee must have a valid BLS upon hire. CPI required within 90 days of hire.
